On being green

I’ve just cycled a total of 11 kilometers to attend 2 separate meetings. I arrived on time, stress free and (thankfully) still smelling fresh. As my location is right in the heart of Queenstown, I could probably service local clients as far away as Frankton by bicycle, weather permitting of course.
I never really thought about the implications of what I’d just done until I got back to the office and mentioned it to a friend. Apparently that makes Darkside Media an eco-aware, socially responsible business.
I don’t know if I buy it, but it’s a great line none the less.
How green are you?

doing it one time is fine but lets see if you are still peddling back and forward in 6 months time!
I live in Christchurch, and very near uni. I walk pretty much everywhere, or take a bus when its too far to walk. Christchurch is fairly lucky, in that its quite flat and well laid out, so a bus system makes sense, and its implemented well here.
I guess I’m ‘green’ purely as a byproduct, I don’t go out of my way to try and do this. Some credit must be given to the Christchurch bus system, as if it wasn’t so good, I would have to drive myself.
